S.T.O.P. (Safety Training Outreach Program)
What is STOP?
STOP workshops for the 5th and 6th grade cover a variety of important and age-appropriate subjects. STOP teaches students how to recognize, prevent and respond to potentially abusive situations. The skills acquired in the workshops can also help children in their everyday life communicating with friends and family. STOP seeks to empower children while teaching them about their basic human rights to be safe and cared for. Through guided group discussion and student involved role-plays, students are taught about:
